CECILY AND GWENDOLYN'S FANTASTICAL...
World Premiere Philadelphia Live Arts Festival 2011
LADY M
Using vocal acrobatics and placing a 180º spin on the story of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, LAB Fellow Adrienne Mackey draws upon the forces of the tale’s witches to re-tell the story through its violent heroine. Using Roy Hart voice technique as a means to unlock a more powerful and muscular vocal treatment of Shakespeare's text, Lady M’s chorus of 15 women uses the play’s supernatural underbelly to turn this classic story on its head.

Featuring Catharine Slusar with Mary Lee Bednarek, Kate Black-Regan, Amanda Damron, Karen Getz, Colleen Hughes,
